University-Industry Research Connections 2014

The CWTS has just released its Uni-Industry connections report, which is available free at . This is fairly timely given recent discussion in Australia about connections between research and industry.

It's based on co-authored research articles from 2009-2012 and uses four performance indicators, so purely publications rather than any other kind of collaboration - clearly, this misses quite a lot, as corporations are usually less interested in publications than in patents and real-world impact.

However, in case of interest, there are 24 Australian universities included.
